Last year was very successful for me. I’ve been in all the appropriate national shows for my work, been invited to demo at the plein air convention in Carmel, and I’ve been consistently selling my work. I hadn’t taken a raise in prices for about 5 years. I had been asked to raise my prices by my galleries. So….. My prices have been raised.
I will be posting more 6×6″ and 6×8″ paintings on daily painters which I will be able to keep the prices lower and unframed on those pieces. The rest of my work will mostly be sold through my galleries. Although a few will be sold online as I have done in the past. I will continue to offer layaway if you see a painting that you really want. Just email me and we can work out a deal.

You work has been surprising inexpensive for so long that you deserve to sell for higher prices. Congratulations!
Thanks Sergio, I knew that it had been and was reluctant to take a leap. But, I figured I had worked hard enough at this point to take a leap. Also, if the price is too low, it is limiting where you can go with your art. Now was a good time, old galleries closed, new ones wanted higher prices and new venues.
Surprisingly, last night i was at the opening at The Celebration of Fine Art. I heard even now that my prices were very reasonable from several people. Next year…..
