I have some light from the sun on the road, in the plants and on the ground which gives the painting more depth and feeling. I also used more paint in the foreground for texture and interest. The light paint on the sunlight in the sky grabs your attention to lead you to the focal point.
I thought Lori wrote a very good article, so I republished this on my blog. This really
resonated with me. I have felt that it is very important to improve as an artist to be
the best that you can be.
