I guess I will try to oblige you.

I’m known to my family and friends as a person of few words, but with a lot of thoughts that I tend to keep to myself. You see, painting I have always found difficult to express with words.
The process of painting at times seems to have consumed my life. Sometimes I find it difficult to step away from it and have some balance in my life. But, I have also found from life experiences that it is a necessary thing to do. For the average person it is hard for them to understand the euphoria and the connection to creating that an artist has. It’s not about the painting, it’s all about the process. Its a fabric of my being.
When I am painting, and it’s going well, it is as if my soul is filled and I am whole. I have never found anything like painting that gives me the same feeling. It feels as though I am invincible, powerful and filled with self confidence. Painting on location outdoors, I feel like I become a part of my surroundings. I relish the quiet, the colors, the smells, and all the nuances around me. I know that I am experiencing a world that no one sees or comprehends in the same way that I do.
It is such a powerful and beautiful world that I want to share with you. I hope that you come away with some understanding and glimpse into my vision of the world and that it touches you with an emotional response.
