A different sunset this week. This would be looking away from the sun, the last light on the high monsoon clouds. The warm colors of the pinks and the oranges fade into the warm whites of the clouds. Most of the painting is in cool blues and cool grays, which both help to make the warms of the clouds glow. Although this painting is from my mind, it is typical of the summer afternoons and sunsets.
As most of you know, I recently built a studio and continue to work on it. I have been waiting to take a video of the studio when it was finished. A few days ago, a friend told me to shoot the video anyway, mess and all. So, here is my unfinished studio…… with the mess!
