A new auction added to Fleeting Moments, “Palm Sunset”. We get some spectacular sunsets and cloud formations in Arizona this time of year, the summer monsoons. This one was from my neighborhood. I’ve had a lot of drive-by shots of sunsets this year. It seems that I’m always driving a grandkid at sunset instead of painting.
I really got into the paint with this one, nice thick, juicy paint strokes. The cat liked them too. There were paw prints across the carpet to prove my supposition. Even after cleaning the carpet, I still love the feel of loading thick paint onto the brush. It has such a nice buttery feel.
I’ve got a couple of things I’ve been working on lately – building a new studio (starting soon) and a contract for several prints at a remodeled resort in Tucson. This started with a call last fall and is finally going to be done in a week or so. More on these projects soon.
Check out the latest auction by clicking fleeting moments. The painting is available in prints and as an e-card to send to your friends.
Talk to you later when I post another auction next week.
Later,
Becky
