This was painted on a winter trip to Oregon. It was a break in the rain when the colors look vibrant and fresh with the sunlight shining on the scene. I like the contrast of the warm and cool colors in the painting. Like most of my paintings there is texture in parts of the painting to give it interest and depth. The oil painting on canvas panel is varnished and ready to frame.
