I like to play with color and sunsets. Often I will start with a photo. In this instance I had a daylight photo from Colorado. It gave me the inspiration for this painting, although I did a lot of editing in the composition. I deleted a couple of mountains, opening up the background so that it would fade into the sky. The path and some trees have been added. The cabin was pretty much like what I painted. The sky, that’s a different story. That is my imagination.
The paintings are priced unframed and varnished. Most of the paintings are recently completed and are FOR SALE! However, they may need a couple of weeks to dry before they can be safely varnished and shipped.
I do my best to photograph them accurately, but your monitor may be different than mine. You don’t have to worry about it though, because I promise you if you don’t like your painting for any reason, I will refund all your money, including shipping and fees, if you inform me within 15 days and and return it in the same condition you received it.
