12" x 16" oil on canvas panel
I spent three weeks in Italy often staying in the countryside at B & B's. This is the all too familiar hills of Umbria. I had painted some small paintings on location when I was there and then returned to my studio to paint larger paintings. This is the rolling fields in late afternoon.
Although, this isn't a large painting, it is larger than what I usually paint on location. And, of course, while traveling for 3 months in Europe, I had to keep my supplies down to a minimum. Size of canvases was a real issue. Most that I painted were 6" x 8".
This painting is priced unframed with options of either a silver or gold frame at an additional cost.
