Another auction this week. The auctions are going well and I will be continuing them with a new one every Monday at noon. So…..Here it is.
“Sunlight Through the Oak Tree” 8″ x 10″ oil on panel. Last week I painted a 30″ x 40″ painting of an oak tree with a sunset. I posted it on facebook and had an overwhelmingly great response. So…. I decided to paint a similar painting which is more affordable. I’ve actually painted this tree a couple of times while in Austin, TX. While visiting my son and his family there, I usually have my paints with me. This tree happens to be in his neighborhood next to a wilderness area. It’s been an easy place to paint, plus I’m able to get out for short periods of time. He just moved before Christmas, but it is only a couple of miles away. He now has his own wilderness area, so maybe I can walk out into the backyard next time!
I know some of you may not be interested in receiving an email from me once a week. I want to make sure that I’m not bombarding you with unwanted emails. So, could you do me a favor and let me know if you want to receive the auction emails or would you rather hear from me once a month with a recap of what is happening and what’s next? I just spent the day organizing emails, migrating some and setting up new sign ups on the websites. Whew! What a job.
