The rocks along the shore of a Colorado Lake. I’ve always loved painting rocks, even taking geology in college. Interesting stuff.
The darks of the rocks have brushstokes that show direction and shape of the rocks. The logs and rocks under the transparent water lead the viewer into the painting.
